Our GoalThe goal of Laboratory Eemshaven B.V. or in short Eemslab, is originally supervising the quality of the sugar which is exported through a Sugar terminal at Eemshaven Holland. This sugar terminal is named Eemshaven Sugar Terminal, or in short E.S.T.. The sugar terminal is our contractor which wants us to Sample incoming trucks and analyse the sugar they are carrying, to be sure that all incoming sugar is conform E.E.C. number 2. Furthermore we are also doing several different analyses on Molasses and Sugar for different independent customers.
Company profileEemslab is specialised in analysing Sugar and Sugar derivates such as Molasses and Vinasses. The Lab is founded in 1988 the same time as the Sugar terminal was build, the lab is positioned in this Terminal. Eemslab has 2 stockholders, Control Union en Veem & Factor , whereby the main office of Control Union is at Rotterdam, and from Veem en Factor at Eemshaven. The office is being managed now from 1990 by Mr. E. Drenth and bookkeeping is being done by Mr. J. Perin The managing director of this all is Mr. G. Ostermeijer who has is office in Rotterdam. Furthermore has Eemslab of course it's ISO 9001 certificate.
